Activated Charcoal Review: Teeth Whitening

So by now I’m pretty sure you have heard of using charcoal to help whiten your teeth. Well there was an amazing sale going on, and I just couldn’t resist the urge to buy myself some charcoal; so I did. I waited a long time to finally receive my package, longer than estimated, but when it finally came I was excited. I wanted to test it out for myself and see if the hype behind it was justified. So I have been using it for about a week now, and I can say I do see very small changes. Nothing that would make someone gasp at the site of my pearly whites but just enough for me to notice. Plus it really has only been a week and I am happy I’m able to see something. I have also been taking photos of my teeth to document the process, and I will be posting them on my blog as well.

Once I opened the charcoal there was absolutely no smell, and when I used it there was no taste, it is like having a mouth full of powder. However, it is oh so messy, and it drives me a little crazy, but it’s a small price to pay for what is does. When I use it, I can actually feel that my teeth and mouth have been cleaned better compared to when I use toothpaste. That is because it is also a detoxifier, which helps remove bacteria and buildup from inside your mouth, so your mouth is actually cleaner. Finally the packaging it comes in is small and does not take up space making it easy to store, but just remember it is very messy.

To conclude, I think that this really is a great product, and I really do love using it, especially because of how clean it leaves my teeth and mouth. You can also find activated charcoal at a really good price, and a little goes a long way. Even though I waited quite long for it to come in the mail, I am happy I decided to try it.
